There are restaurants on every corner in Prague. It is easy to find the place for lunch or dinner. Czech cuisine is typically central European. The standard meal, offered in just about every restaurant is 'knedlo, vepro, zelo'. It is bread dumpling, sauerkraut and roast pork. You should taste it while you are there.The prices in restaurants are pretty low, you can have a nice meal for 140CZK(about 6Eu).
Famous Czech beer has been brewed there since the 10th century. The best known are Plzen (Pilsner Urquell) and Budvar (Budwaiser).The American Bud has its origins in the original Budvar which has been brewed for the last 300 years in Ceske Budejovice.
