KUTNÁ HORA: Since 1995 Kutná Hora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Small town famous for Bone Church ( Kostnice ) – church decorated with medieval human bones and skulls. Saint Barbara Church is one of the most famous Gothic cathedrall in central Europe. St Barbara is the patron saint of miners - from the 12th century there were silver mines in this city. TEREZÍN CONCENTATION CAMP: Terezín is known as a tragic symbol of the sufferings of the tens of thousands of people who died here during the Nazi occupation . In 1941 the town of Terezin was changed by the Nazis to Jewish ghetto-transit camp. Until the end of the War more than 150.000 deportees passed through the camp, 35.000 of which died there. KARLŠTEJN CASTLE: The Karlštejn castle was originally built in the Gothic style ( 1365 ). The old Chapel of the Holly Cross with the biggest collection of the Gothic painings is part of the castle.Be ready for short walk after you leave the train. The castle is situated on a hill!
